French DGCCRF food and testing

French DGCCRF is the English abbreviation for French food safety regulations. Products sold to France, in addition to the requirements of the EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, comply with French local regulatory requirements, including French DGCCRF 2004-64 and French Décret no 92-631. French regulations not only with the food contact with plastic and rubber products have special requirements, the metal products are also special classification and requirements.

Test requirements for stainless steel
Most of the stainless steel used for food contact materials contains 18% chromium, which is the most suitable corrosion resistance in food and beverage contact materials. This is also the ideal concentration for cost and reduction of production costs.
In France, food products must contain at least 13% chromium in stainless steel and should contain nickel and manganese. The biggest limitation is to impose other elements of fusion.

Comparison of DGCCR with other food grade tests
French DGCCR special is that France requires the coating and the inside of the material to be tested separately, such as: with organic coating of cooking utensils, in addition to the coating surface to be tested, the metal as a substrate also has the corresponding requirements.

Food contact products:
- plastic products / PP, PA, PC, PVC, POM, Nylon, PS, ABS
Silicone rubber products
- Melamine Products
- Wood products / paper products
Stainless Steel Products
Cast Iron Products / Cast Iron
- Tin, Alloy Products / Tin
- Non-stick coating products / Non-stick coating
